Art Chat
Art Chat is an historic group dedicated to elevating the voices of artists, writers, and creators in the Renfrewshire area. Formed in the early 2000s, this collective aimed to provide a platform for local talent, fostering collaboration and community engagement. Through, exhibitions, and events, they brought together diverse creatives to share ideas and showcase their work, ultimately enriching the cultural fabric of Renfrewshire. Scope Showcase 2022
In a remarkable event that revitalized an abandoned flat on Paisley High Street, Scope took the initiative to transform the space into a vibrant exhibition. Over the course of one month, 57 local artists showcased their incredible work, attracting an impressive 1,013 visitors. This project not only breathed new life into the neglected area but also fostered a sense of community and creativity among the artists and attendees alike. It was a celebration of local talent and an inspiring example of how art can bring people together.

Scope Showcase 2023
Paisleys piazza was transformed when a disused retail unit that once housed a Shoe Zone was revitalised by Scope and the vibrant talent of 61 local artists. The event attracted an impressive visitor count of 974 people, all eager to explore the creativity and artistry of their community. This unique exhibition not only brought life back to the shopping centre but also garnered attention from various cultural magazines, highlighting the importance of local art.
The collaboration between Scope and local creatives marked a significant moment in the area, celebrating art and community.
Scope Showcase 2021
The exhibition transformed an old deli into a vibrant art space, the creativity of 25 local artists. This groundbreaking event highlighted a diverse range of artistic expressions, from painting to sculpture, all inspired by the venue's rich history. It was a celebration of community, creativity, and the stories that connect through art. Attendees had the opportunity to experience local talent in an underated setting!
